BIOGRAFIA MAURIZIO VERBENI
Maurizio Verbeni in arte “jazz voice”, inizia la sua carriera nel 1977 e decide di operare nel settore italiano aprendo una nuova etichetta discografica dal nome Prima Musica Italiana oltre alla sua già nota Groove Inside Records.
Dopo 35 anni di esperienza, è tra i protagonisti indiscussi della scena House Mondiale, e con le sue produzioni & remix tra le più ballate della Galassia, con artisti del calibro di: Peter Gabriel, Leee John (Imagination), Rozalla, Thelma Huston, Boy George, Michelle Weeks, Barbara Tucker, 2 Unlimited, Amber Dirks, Mj White, Kurtis Blow, Orlando Johnson, Anita Ward, Faithless, Kenny Bobian, Annette Taylor, Damian Wild, Debbe Cole, Jill Jones, Adolfo, Iona, Jamie Dee oggi la famosa “Marina Rei”, Eve Gallagher, Michael Procter, Carol Jiani, Jocelyn Brown, Sabrina Jhonston, Oliver Cheatman, 49 Ers, la nuova artista emergente italiana Linda d, ecc ecc…

WHO IS DJ VERBENI?
Maurizio Verbeni AKA “Jazz Voice” was born in Rome.He started his career as a DJ when he was just 20 years old.Clubs as Jackie’O, Gil’s (Gil Cagnè’s club), Blu Zone, and Gasolyne were all places where Maurizio had his firsts gigs.After that, in a really short time, his music style was diffuse for all Italy so from the Italian capital, he started to move also to other cities to show to everyone his qualities.Just to say some clubs as example : Kinki (Bologna), Hipe (Caserta), Imsomnia (Cattolica), Diva (Novara), Rebus (Tropea), Quasar (Perugia), Dorian Gray (Perugia), Colibrì (Perugia), Privilege (Perugia), Formula Uno (Città di Castello – Perugia), Jona (Sperlonga), Metropolis (Foggia), Pantheon (Foggia), Vip (Cortina), Pineta (Milano Marittima),..and many more..(this was just the begin…)In 1992 Maurizio discovered his abilities to make music.He firstly “baked” a record named “Jazz Voice”.This first record was played in every best clubs.Then Maurizio decided to use “Jazz Voice”as his artistic name.Radikal Records (New York) took his record to publish it, MBG (Italy) made the same thing as Radikal.After that, this big hit was inserted in many compilations.Jazz Voice’s record was so famous that it “travelled” all around the world.After that Maurizio Verbeni started new collaborations with other important labels as UMM, X-Energy, Flying Records, Media Records, Dig It International, MBG, BMG Ariola, Sony Music, Disco Magic, ect..Maurizio decided to move to America to discover the music world starting new collaborations with producers as Costantino Padovano, Ralf Dee, Martin Monster Aurelio, Benji Candelario, Alan Jeffrey,as well as record companies as Eightball Records, Cutting Records, Northcott, Radikal Records.He used to play in New York at “Studio 54”.From there he started to do important remixes for artists like Gwen Mc Cray, Annette Taylor, Rozzalla, Thelma Houston, Jacqueline, Lee Genesis, Debbe Cole, Kenny Bobian, 2 Unlimited, Dominica, Suzi Carr, Damian Wild, Imagination..The American experience opened to Maurizio other frontiers in Europe.He started to do important projects as the remixes for:Eve Gallagher, Jill jones, Adolfo, Iona, Mj White, 49ers, Donald O’, Faithless, Jamie Dee, etc..1996 was a great period for Maurizio so he decided to opens a his own record company (SOM Records) togheter with the Maurizio’s collaborators Mirko Braida and Paolo Cimarelli.Som Records produced artists like : Annette Taylor, Leee John, Debbe Cole, Lee Genesis, Dittongo, Instict, ect..Now, after 6 years, Maurizio Verbeni come back to the music world…with new productions and remixes who everybody will listen very shortly…!
